District Trustee Harold Laurent

Biography

Harold joined the former Patrick Henry Kiwanis in 1983, and served as Secretary and President.He left the club in 1986 when he was assigned to work in France for two years.

On his return in 1988, hejoined the Kiwanis Club of Denbigh.Harold served as Club President, Membership Chair, Sponsored Programs Chair.He is currently the editor of the club's bulletin, the Denbigh Dispatch.

Harold was a Distinguished Lt. Governor in 1993-94, served as District YCPO Chair from 1995 -97 andbecame a Kiwanis Certified Trainer in 1997. He served on the District Long Range Planning committee.

He was District Chair for Education and Training.He coordinated training sessions at District Conventions and Midwinter Conferences for several year. He was co-chair of the 2001 Midwinter Conference, and served on conference planning committees for a number of other conferences.

At the regional caucus at Midwinter 2005, the delegates from the Hampton Roads Region elected him District Trustee.
