William "Bill" Roberson
Biography
Bill
joined the Kiwanis Club of Manassas in 1966 and is a distinguished Past
President (1981-1982).He is a distinguished Past Lt. Governor
(1984-1985) of Division 10.Founder of three Kiwanis Clubs, two, the Kiwanis
Club of Bull Run and the Kiwanis Club of Goose Creek, are still active clubs in
Division 10 and 20 respectively. A three times and
current member of the Permanent Committee on District Meetings marks his
continued work on the Capital District level. As a
Charter Member and distinguished Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Goose Creek, he served two
terms, 1987-1988 and 2001-2002.Bill is a life member of the Kiwanis Capital
District Foundation and served as a cook for the annual Manassas Steak Fry for
25 years. Bill
truly enjoys Kiwanis as exemplified by his 39 years of perfect attendance. Bill was elected Capital District Trustee by the
voters of Region H that comprises Division 10 and 20,both
districts he has served so well in the past.
