Registration Information

ü Use one (1) registration form per Kiwanian. If your spouse is a Kiwanian, please fill out an additional form. Copies are acceptable.

ü Type or print neatly all information requested.

ü Registration must be completed online or postmarked by July 11. Late and online registration will be accepted until August 11.Onsite registration will be available at the Richmond Marriott beginning August 14 at 4 p.m.

ü Registration fees must be paid to participate in any District Convention event.

ü Cancellations must be received in writing by July 11. E-mail is acceptable.

ü Checks should be made payable to Capital District Kiwanis.

ü MasterCard and Visa are accepted.

Tour Information

For your guests, we have lined up a four-hour bus tour of historic and other significant landmarks in the City of Richmond beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 16. The tour will include a personal guided tour of Virginia’s classical State Capitol, first occupied in 1788 and home to America’s oldest continuous representative assembly. The tour will cover Richmond’s most significant landmarks, including St. John’s Church, where Patrick Henry made his famous “Give me liberty or give me death” speech, Monument Avenue, the Fan District, the eclectic Carytown shopping district, Hollywood Cemetery, and many other interesting sites. The tour will conclude in Shockoe Slip, where participants can shop or have lunch on their own at one of the many great restaurants before boarding the bus back to the Marriott. The cost for the tour is $27.00.
